Annual report of HOUZAT-UL-IMAM-UL-QAYAM (A.T.F.S.) for the year 2003-04.

1. Introduction in brief:

All praises to be one and only Allah (SWT) and with deep sense of gratitude to IMAM-E-ASR (AS) a DEENEE HOUZA (Islamic Institute) has been established in the name of Houzat-ul-Imam-ul-Qayam (A.S) simultaneously for both senior Boys and Girls students in an endeavor to eradicate Ignorance and with sole aim and objective to teach most important and basis Islamic Ulooms and to offer value base Islamic and English and other medium of education in methodical, technical and spiritual mode which also emphasis on skills, self creativities, positive and rational thinking, awareness as to inspire to fulfill and discharge their worldly and spiritual obligations strictly in accordance to Islamic Sharia, with ease and confidence. The above said will be done under the guidance of dedicated expert and qualified faculty in pleasant environment and provisional infrastructures.

2. Post Inaugural Report:

The inaugural ceremony took place on 12th Sept, 2001 (20th Jamadius-sani, 1422 H) on occasion of Viladat-e-Hazarat Fatima Zehra (A.S) with a speech by Janab Salim Peerbhoy Chairman and Ex- President of Khoja Jamat and Khoja Welfare Body in presence of Hyder Badami, Secretary of Khoja Jamat and Secretary of Houza and Moulana Syed Luqmaan Hussain Moosavi and Principal, Teachers, Students and various members of Jamat.

3. Location of Houza:

The location of the houza is at Hyderabad (India) the city which has glorious history and influence of Islamic tradition, and richness of ancients Imambadas and Ashurkhana’s where the atmosphere is absolutely conducive in growth of Shia culture and community and teachings in Islam and the permanent base of houza is situated in the vicinity of Khoja Shia Asna Asheri Jamat called Baitul Qayam and since the expansion work of construction work is in progress at Baitul Qayam temporarily the classes are conducted in near by Hussainia Zehra (A.S) Institute.

4. Policies Procedures Features:

A. Accomodation & Food for Boys: For non resident students special facilities of boarding and lodging is provided by Houza hostel and mess were comfortable stay and hygienic foods and meals are also being served.

B. Admissions: Is base upon interview by the qualified scholars with strict norm of Houza and selections of students are done through academic tracks and records.

C . Guideline for Parents: A through no objection certificate are being obtain form parents/ guardians to fulfill baseline of houza, like progress reports, health etc, and parents are kept well advice to co-ordinate the study and progress of students.

D. Timings of Houza for Boys: All days except (Friday being holiday) – Morning 9 a.m to 1 p.m Islamic classes. – Noon 2:30 p.m to 5 p.m Computer classes. – Evening 7 p.m to 9 p.m Spoken English Courses.

E . Timings of Houza for Girls: All days except (Sunday being holiday). – 4:30 p.m to 7:30 p.m Islamic classes.

F . Groups for Girls Students: There are only 3 groups

Groups for Boys Students: There are only 3 groups

G. Discipline of Houza: All students are properly educated to strive in being responsible to maintain proper discipline with kind manners and display at most courtesy and follow rules of Houza as these are strict rules for Girls students to have adequate parda (veil) and any use of cosmetics or ornaments are restricted.

A. Written Notes.

VI. History of Islam

VII. Akhlakh (Tarbiyat)

VIII. Elm-e-Kalaam (Usul-e-din).

NOTE: Special Educational program will also be conducted for citation of oral Majlis and Hadees all the above program are according to the syllabus in the beginning and in future it will gradually improve.

Examinations: Annual examinations was concluded for both boys and girls in the month of November 2002, Mah-e-Shaban, 1424 H, the results and performance of students were 70 to 85%, and other quarterly, half yearly exam were corresponding beside the routine check on every students were practical.

5. Expenditure and Finance of Houza for Girls:

Financial requirements are met with funding of Sahme Imam (A.S) (KHUMS) and donations etc., and initially a sum of Rs. 25,000/- were deposited in S.B A/C NO. 9349 in Central Bank of India, Chatta Bazar Branch, Hyderabad, India. In the name of Houzat-Ul-Imam-Ul-Qayam (A.S) at present following mention amount is being occurred towards monthly expenditures of Houza.

Expenditure and Finance of Houza for Boys:

Further an amount of Rs.15,000 has been paid towards purchase of furniture fixtures, electricals, stationery’s book’s etc.

6. Future Program of Houza: Presently thirty five (35) girls students and twenty (20) boys’ students are in strength and another 50 more in waiting list in the second batch which will be commence after moharram inshallah and for future plan students will be promoted for sponsorship for higher studies in holy land of Iran in (Qum).

The houza has authorized Ijaza from Maraje and Mujtehedin to call and collect shaire ruqhumat (religious funds) we shall request and solicit your heartfelt contribution for Houza.
